Forest Valley

Created in TG2. This image took some time and effort, but I am really proud of the result.

Sand Castles

Created in TG2. Somewhere on Earth, in the present, distant past, or distant future, there is a large basin with the sand blasted remnants of a once great mountain range...

Lone Oak

Created in TG2. I really like the Oak tree model on this one.

Spring Lake Path

Created in TG2. I wanted to test a few new techniques I have been working on, and combine them will skills I already knew. This is the result. Image Size: 1024x768. I plan on doing higher resolution images in the future.

Smuggler's Beach

Created in TG2. I wanted to test out a new "surf zone" technique I have been developing. Additionally, I wanted to test the Global Illumination technique in more of a brighter day setting. This was the result. This image recenly made "Image of the Week" at Planetside (TG2's development site). Here is the link.

Just for Fun Sunset

Created in TG2. I wanted to put something together quickly that looked nice. This was the result.

Canyon Bend

Created in TG2 using a new Global Illumination technique I've been developing.

Sivon Faen

Created in TG2 using a new rock generation technique I've been developing. The castle was modeled in Google Sketchup.

Refuge Rock

Created in TG2. Testing new displacement techniques, diffuse lighting, and water surfacing.

Hot Spot 2

Created in TG2. Testing new surfacing techniques with lighting.

Pyroplanegenesis!

Created in TG2. Testing new surfacing techniques with lighting.

Fairy Tale Lake

Created in TG2. I wanted to try out making a "big" image that featured all the skills I had learned up to that point. Castle modeled in Google Sketchup.

Yangtze River Style

Created in TG2. Testing clouds, lighting, surfaces, populations, and water.

Big Bad Sky

Created in TG2. Working with clouds and foliage populations.

Ancient Seabeds

Created in TG2. Working with rock, sand, and ground structure.

Sand and Rock tests

Created in TG2. Working with rock, sand, and ground structure.

Pine Valley #2

Created in TG2. My first official attempt at foliage populations, and limiting clouds with masks.

Temple of Mist

Created in TG2. This image made "Image of the Week" at TG2's development site. It can be seen here.

Monolith Fields

Created in TG2. My first official TG2 image! Some post work in Photoshop.

Imagemod1

Created in Photoshop. Another attempt at compositing photos successfully.

Spacey Beach

Created in Photoshop. I know it sounds pretty boring, but I was trying to test more photo compositing.

23 million BC

Created in Photoshop. The background rocks were created in TG0.9.

Phantom Lake

Created in Photoshop. My first successful "matte" image.

Sandy Rock

Created in Photoshop. My first image composite. I wanted to see if I could blend separate photos into one image successfully.

Whispering Seas

Created in Bryce 5 - and the last image I ever worked on using Bryce. Lots of post work in Photoshop.

Pacific Secret

Created in Bryce 5. Plenty of postwork in Photoshop. I got real lucky on this one and everything fell into place. Everything but the foreground rock is 2D!

Thermal Trenches

Created in Bryce 5. Finally figured out a way to create realistic overhangs and wanted to create an official image to feature the technique.

Alpha Orionis

Created in Bryce 5. I wanted something quick and fun. Background clouds composited in via Photoshop.

Cove of Dreams

Created in Bryce 5. My first successful attempt at "realistic" ocean waves. The breaking wave is an actual 3d model I created. The whitewater is a 2D height map I created in Photoshop and imported into Bryce 5 as a terrain. Lots of postwork done in the end to give it some kick.

Galaxy Peak

One of my first official TG0.9 images. No Bryce was used here. Plenty of compositing was used on this one. The clouds and background were all added in Photoshop.

Ancient's Legacy

Created in Bryce 5. By this time, I had learned how to use background composites well. Here, I used a painted sky created in Photoshop.

Paradise Cove

Created in Bryce 5. I wanted a very colorful sunset on this one. Ocean waves were too hard to pull of realistically at the time, so I kept them small. The sky was created in TG0.9

Lake of the Sun

Created in Bryce 5. A fun image to make. It included elements from TG0.9 and Photoshop painting as well.

Sunrise on Tarsus IV

Created in Bryce 5. This image was another turning point for me as I learned new techniques, especially compositing elements within the image.

Sky Splash

Created in Bryce 5. I did not like this image at all and nearly didn't post it. However, people really liked it at the time, so I kept it.

Stellar Rain

Created in Bryce 5.

Walking with Orion

Created in Bryce 5. An original moodflow.com classic image.

Three Kings

Created in Bryce 5. An original moodflow.com classic image.

Lake of Legends
